Hearing Loss
My friend cannot hear me.
She is not sick.
She lives in a deadly silent world.
A human is born with 2 “antennas”
We call them ears.
The “Antennas” are designed to capture sound waves.
These invisible waves carry messages.
A Human is born with a natural “transmitter”
We call them middle ear.
They transmit the sound wave messages.
A human is born with universal sound receptors.
We call these receptors brain receptors.
They are formed from nerve cells.
They are capable of receiving, analyzing and interpreting
messages presented by sound waves.
My friend tries to increase her antennae surface.
By using her hand she tries to capture more sound waves.
She still struggles to hear.
She has hearing loss.
She feels frustrated. Here hearing loss is profound.
Will she be able to hear me in the future?
