Suicidal thought                                                                                                       Suicidal thought is a non visible energy that exists in close proximity to depressed individuals. It may absorb and patronize the will of living and enjoying the precious gift of the Creator which is life. The mind of a depressed individual is feeble and therefore is susceptible to negative influences that impact on the sanctity of human life.

Stress is the major determining factor that negatively affects the emotional wellbeing of the human. In immigrants and refugees the biggest stressor is the feeling of loneliness and being forcibly detached from past pleasurable experiences, culture, friends and family. In the abscence of supporting community network, it may lead to emotional distress and depression.

Suicidal thought is an ominous sign of impending self destruction and demise. At times suicidal attempts precede the suicidal act. Such attempts  indicate  the sense of self  preservation as being a valuable human instinct. Interventions that break the propagation of this invisible energy into a suicidal act are the standard strategies in the care of such patients.

I feel lonely. Life is monotonous. I sense living in a dark restricted room. Rythm of life proceeds at high pace. Stress is my neighbor. I find hard to ignore him. I see him everyday. He is inconsiderate, ruthless, violent and killer. He intimidates refugees and immigrants.
I could not be heard. No one had come to my rescue. My community is non compassionate. I see nothing enjoyable in life. I feel emotionally paralyzed. I feel I need to detach my self from this dark and sad world.
