Death is the end of all living life cycle. In contrast to birth death is faced with anger and sadness.
Doctors are familiar and feel comfortable treating life threatening conditions of their patients. When witnessing death physicians learn the short and transient life span of human on earth, the value and gift of living.
Physician also learn the imminence of death with projection to themselves which precipitates occult sadness and even unexpressed depression in them.
In between birth and death there is a seemingly immortal sense of a life span however it is true that physicians are always reminded of death referable to them. .
